Message Replied To ========== Never mind that Harris County voted heavily for Hillary. But when there's political hay to be made and conservatives and Christians to ridicule, don't let facts get in the way...============================== And I mean writers who get paid for a living. I don't care what Ted Cruz said about Sandy 5 YEARS AGO at this very moment. There are people who need help and it looks like they are getting help - but more help is needed. Regardless of the source.
Politicizing the storm now is the lowest form of human scum. Talk about that later. I'm not a fan of Cruz, but he is saying the obvious.
Houston is a blue city, and blue county. The border counties of Texas voted for HRC. If a #badword#ing nazi with a swastika tattoo was drowning with his family in a car and I was nearby, I'd help to try to save one and all. As would most decent human beings.
So how about saving the analysis of capitalism - the very heart of this country- until sometime later? Millions of people live in CA despite the threat of earthquakes. People live in Kansas/OK despite killer tornadoes that happen every fricking spring. Folks live all over Florida/SE GA/SC despite the threat of hurricanes. Is this the storm where one of the casualties is named COMPASSION? Sheesh
