Message Replied To ========== Lead guitarist Dave Hlubek of Molly Hatchet dead at 66. * ============================== I think it must have been 1980. I tended bar at the old Hilton at 98 and I-4 and all the acts at the Lakeland Civic Center at the time stayed there. For a few years they had a Southern Rock type show with Molly Hatchet being the headline act. They showed up at the bar after last call wanting a drink, which of course I couldn't serve them. Dave looked at me (I was 19 and prolly a size 3 then) and says, "you're cute, I want to get in your pants", to which I replied "get in line". He laughed but did not get a drink. Or in my pants. :-) |
