Not even suggesting we will be great on offense, but I am unwilling to call it a season based on one game with a raw QB and without two of our best players.  OL played badly and play calling was horrendous.  No doubt.  But I plan on keeping some hope alive lol.  

I also get that fans tend to react differently.  I've watched many of these same people here call for firings and benching during some of our best seasons.  During national championship seasons.  I've watched people call for firings and benching in the first half of games that ended up as blowouts (with us winning). 

I get that those most vocal fans tend to feel they know more than the rest of us, and if we call them out for being prematurely negative, they get indignant.

I'me learned to respect that we can be different types of fans in spite of the fact that we are all on the same side.  And while I agree 1000% that our performance  on Saturday was abysmal beyond acceptability, I am just not ready to write these players and coaches off after a sample of one game.  I may in fact come around to that way of thinking.

But it's just too soon at this point.  Fire away.
