Heavy tree, fence and landscaping damage but our house is sound. Wont be swimming in the pool anytime soon, which stinks because it's hot.  Most streets in Coral Gables were blocked this morning but like us, folks clear roads where they can if heavy equipment isn't needed. 80% of residents with no power. Sounds of chainsaws, generators and sirens fill the air. Family owned grocery store nearby opened at 1 pm, appreciative neighbors waited patiently in line to get in. Bought some bread and some beer. No ice. Will grill steak tonight and drink some of our good wine from Napa before it is changed forever. Missed most of the weekend's football but my family and friends are safe. All is good. Peace.
