Gas is a rare commodity, campus is being cleaned up, minimal damage to stadium.
Hope everyone came through the storm OK. ==============================Our daughter and her husband in Winter Park were fortunate to have suffered no personal harm or serious property damage, finding only some minor yard debris in the wake of the storm; but their power has been out since early Sunday evening, and they're being told by Duke Power that it could be "a few days" before their power is restored. Nonetheless, we're optimistic that they'll be back online by Thursday or Friday, so we're planning to drive down and take our crew to the game on Saturday. I can think of no better way to raise spirits and restore some semblance of normalcy than to spend a September Saturday journeying to Gainesville and cheering for the Gators; and I hope that all our friends and fellow Gators will be able to join us. Let's fill up the Swamp and spur the Gators to another memorable victory over the Vols! |
