And gun laws in this country are a complete waste of time and effort. All gun laws do in this country is give the police power to pick on young black men and slap 'em with serious criminal records. Throw all of the current gun laws away. They are worthless. I'd give up all my guns tomorrow if it would prevent the next one of these but it won't. Without amending the Constitution, gun legislation in America is a fool's errand. 

This would be a good time to focus on healthcare, mental health in particular. Modern psychiatry is more advanced than ever yet most Americans suffering serious illness go without care.
