Message Replied To ========== I imagine any GOOD head coach with an ounce of sense would avoid us like the plague if we canned Mac now. ==============================I really would like to see a new OC after the season but there is no legitimate basis for getting rid of a coach who has clearly improved the program in his first two seasons even if its not as fast as we would like. Getting rid of the current staff now that we've built a pretty good coaching staff and recruiting is going well would be one of the most self defeating acts of stupidity any program has been guilty of in quite some time. and of course, who are we going to realistically get who is better? All the candidates I hear are either unrealistic, would be worse or are very speculative that they would do better. |
