I wasn't going to get much into this -- but LSU only scored 17 points.  The had 126 yards passing.  LSU got 7 points and 50 passing yards because Duke Dawson got out-fought for a jump ball by the LSU receiver.  Dawson was there first, but he got outworked.  The coaches had him in position to make the play, but he failed.  The LSU jet sweeps were shut down in the second half.

This shows up throughout the game.  Here is something I wrote elsewhere:

I don't blame coaching for things like a WR catching the ball for a first down then running the wrong way back across the line trying to be a hero (so we had to punt instead).  That WR knows not to do that.  He's been coached not to do that.  He's been coached not to do that since we was 10 years old.  He just had a mental fart.  Same with running into the kicker when the guy shanks a punt.  Same with Kylan Johnson whiffing on a tackle on 3rd-and-10 (followed by one of his defensive buds getting hurt on the next play, even though the D should have been off the field).  Same with our DT jumping offside while looking at the ball after everyone sings "I Won't Back Down."  Same with our LG Heggie standing there lost, touching no one, as a safety (or LB) runs right past him for a sack.  Same with our star kicker losing concentration on the extra point.  If ANY ONE of these brain farts had not occurred, we probably win the LSU game.  They ALL occurred to sustain LSU drives or to end one of ours, yet we only lost by one point.  ALL of these are on the players.
