I thought Duke Dawson played much much better than last week...good on him

I though our defense did well in keeping a potent A&M offense held to 19 points... nicely done. I thought they had some major breakdowns on pass coverage that left me speechles but on several of them their receivers dropped the ball and then we also had that lucky illegal player down field.

I was really really pleased with our tempo on the opening drive. We were purposful, efficient and I was sooooo pissed off we didn't get six as we stumbled down in the red zone.

I like our running back tandum... both Perrine and Davis are excellent backs

We play with fear on special teams... when was last effort to block a punt?I had no problem losing a few yards on the kick off return from the endzone by lemonns on the first one even though he didn't break it and we lost some yards... think he made right decision on the next one by stayong put

would love to see a yards per play average based on time remaining in snap count.... seems we do better when we go quick

was really dissapointed when we didn't go for it on 4th with about 5 minutes left...  felt the short field would give us more time if they scored but felt we could make a yard...Townsend didn't listen to his coaches as he was supposed to have kicked it out of bounds and think a first down there might have sealed it

Gators fans hate pro style ball with a game relativly close... I think we would feels better if we lost major shootouts ... 54-52 or something.

 call me stupid but it is very good coaching when you can keep it close with more than 20% of your roster isn't available!

I had high... very high expectations for this team during the summer and put us at 10 regular season wins. I didn't count on the criminal element so high and while I expected injuries, I didn't expect so many...

Things are never as good or as bad as they may seem. I still think we can beat the mutts... but a part of me I must admit also thinks we could get beat by 45...

I can not see any really good coach wanting to come to UF if we fire a guy who won the SEC East twice in three years, lost his starting QB every year, AND is losing close SEC games with a depleted roster due to things out of his control. Who in their right mind would risk their career in such a fickle program?

We could roll the dice with another up and coming coach and hope he works out..but then we risk just going through this all over again.

Like it or not, I think we are stuck where we are for AT LEAST 2018 (I would guess 2019 too) in order to show Mac was given a real opportunity despite the unfortunate events that happenned around him.

As fans we can only cheer for the guys that suit up for us and hope we gwt better luck with injuries (and less criminal players) over the next two years so Mac can succeed.
