...gators a good game, with no injuries, and that the best team (which I always hoped/believed was UGA) may win.  But it seems virtually every year I end up shaking my head at the TV. 

My last year to go to the game was 2008, when, by the end of the third quarter, my section was empty, my wife and friends abandoning me, and that damn Meyer called a time out.  What, we'd only done a "little" celebrating the year before.  Never again, would I drive down, only to drive back on Sunday miserable, after another balloon-bursting weekend.  But here we are again. 

I came looking for "Sleeping With The Enemy", but couldn't find it.  That's always been a classic.  And since attending my first UGA-UF (sorry, that's how we say it) game in 1966 with my parents, I remember "The Good Old Days", when we handled Ray Graves and his following coaches.  Until that damn Spurrier (the most hated/respected coach to ever face UGA - glad he's gotten old!).  He was soooo good for the game.  But bad for us.  But here we are again. 

Thank you for being a great rival, for having kids who will trash-talk us a little.  For having fans (most knowledgeable) who trash talk us.  It's what a rivalry truly is.  We call Georgia-Georgia Tech "Clean Old Fashion Hate".  But more, it refers to this game.  Well, maybe not old fashioned hate.  And maybe not "Clean", either.  But it's SEC vs. SEC.  East vs. East.  Dawgs vs. Gators.  And I will not trash talk.  I've been burned too many times.  I thought we would win.  Then the damn bubble would burst.  Again.  And again. 

I will never trust the Dawgs, no matter the rankings, record, or anything else.  And it's all ya'll fault.  Dammit.  Let's play!!!
