Place holds about 1,500... one side was for JU students... the other side for JU season ticket holders and the top level was all Gator fans (general admission). Cool environment for the night in a gym that is a high school gym with chairbacks.

Chiozza got hurt on the first (or second but I'm pretty sure first) possession... just kind of hunched over out of no where so I'm not sure if it happened in warm ups or what. He played through it during the first half but did not play in the second half. I think he will be fine, maybe take a week or two off and let Allen run point.

We missed quite a few easy baskets in the first half last night, but everything went in during the second half. No real issues other than that. JU is not good.

I'll go through the roster to make it easier...

Okauru - Coach White coached him hard whenever he was in. Every possession was a teaching moment. He will get it, light probably goes on in January but he kept forgetting to press after made baskets and seemed to have a short attention span.

Hudson - He's going to be a fun watch... green light is always on and we all knew he was going to be a scorer. He and Allen will be leading scorers most nights I think. He played defense pretty well last night but again it is JU. He likes to shoot threes off the dribble.

Koulechov - I'll compare him to Barry since they are both grad transfers. He looks more athletic than Barry and plays better defense. He has a nice looking shot and is aggressive going to the basket. Hit a few threes last night and was aggressive on the boards.

Allen - still smooth. Didn't finish a few times in the first half but he will of course be fine.

Chiozza - Simply ran point last night, didn't take shots but he was injured. We have plenty of scorers and he will see plenty playing time so I do not expect him to take shots just because he was in the game like previous years.

Gak - Looks way less confused and way more aggressive. Has added some size.

Hayes - Played fine just not someone who stood out.

Bassett - Did well on the boards.

Ballard - Slasher, looks the part. Scored a few buckets late and ended up with 11 points.

Stone - Did fine, nothing extraordinary.
