...life and death decisions. I don’t think it should damage the sensitivities of kids in their twenties to be told to put a little more effort into making a tackle. This “I’m ok you’re ok” attitude toward their performance is part of the problem. These players don’t need to be told how much they’re loved, they need to be told the truth, and that no matter who they are they will be benched for someone with a little more determination and desire. |
