I went to the USCe game when Holtz was 0-10 in Columbia. Game was sold out. Read that again: South Carolina was -10 and SOLD OUT THE GAME AGAINST UF.
Nebraska sells out its games for 55 years in a row. Including during the Callhan years, when those very nice people lived through not one but 2 seasons of 5 wins each!
Gators used to mock F$U with their empty seats during so-so seasons during the end of the St. Splotchy of the Liverspots years (just before he was fired).
I will watch. I will *try to* cheer because better days are ahead. I am not the least bit happy but mother#badword#er, IAKOW made this fandom different. I THOUGHT .
And look, I am super pissed about the #badword# play, the losses, the coaching mess. I'm angry as hell. But this is a #badword#ing diversion of my #badword#storm weeks of work, finances, kids in school, health, aging parents, life threatening diseases and more.
It just pisses me off to see people openly bragging about giving up on this team. Just because a person can type it does not make that person smart. It makes the person a mother#badword#ing piece of #badword#.
I'm not going to be part of the noise in the system. Sat in the freezing ass cold in Birmingham at the All American Bowl yelling my ass off in 1988.
One of the last ones to leave the Superdome in 1996. Hated #badword# MusGump, loved hanging 50 in Athens.
This too will pass. But don't give up on young men who are playing a game for the entertainment of others.
Gator fans are better than this. I thought. But, stop watching after 14 points?! Mother#badword#er

We use words like orange," "blue," "and the Swamp." We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the Virtual Swamp that Mud provides and then questions the manner in which Mud provides it. I would rather that you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you pick up a moderator shift and stand the post. Either way, I don't give a DAMN what you think you're entitled to! |
