not a ton said from some folks who post here on the right about moore (who actually seems to have tried to forcibly have sex with multiple teenagers when he was in his 30's), but when the franken stuff broke yesterday, lookout!  Several posters in that thread who didn't say #badword# about moore but damn sure are there to jump on franken.  

I think all the bahavior is despicable and disgusting.  I'll admit to being surprised about franken.  He deserves what he gets, IMO.  Another thing I notice is the difference between the types of people who seem to at least try to own their transgressions vs. the ones who dig in and deny it until they can't anymoore.  

here's what I bet we're going to see soon..... someone is gonna come forward proactively and say "hey, I acted badly and here's what I did and I want to own up and help us move forward".  This #badword# has been going on for a LONG time in this country.  A lady in our shop last night said something interesting..... she's in her late 50's, is a surgeon, smart as hell, a minority.  The discussion about all of the "#metoo" stuff came up and she said "this stuff has been going on for a long time.  I dealt with so much of this growing up and in college and med school and even after I was practicing medicine.  You just leanred who to stay away from and how to handle situations when they happened".  Close to exact quote.  She went on to say that she is all for this changing.  Why should people have to "know who to stay away from" in order to simply do their jobs or be happy in the workplace?
