Attended my 32nd straight FSU-UF game after witnessing the first in 1967. I had no emotion today. None. Wishes maybe, but no hope. The Noles suck. We are not good enough to suck.

I am sick of the coaching search.  Our AD on Twitter is too cute by half. No one published or posting knows anything. Thanks, Scott, but I knew that anyway—watched these party pooper surprises twice since Meyer left and once when SOS bolted.

We were brilliant opening a slot early. Now, we appear merely early at being rejected. I don’t know if our university president genuflected in New Hampshire, but it sure looks that way. Don’t get on any more planes to gauge interest in our job. 

I was not a good example today. Many UF fans demonstrated remnants of passion. Third downs were loud in the Swamp when the Gators had a chance. But the drive from the stadium was easy for those who stuck around to the end. No one was surprised. Few were upset.

Losing games and fumbling coaching hires are anticipated now.
