I care a lot about hiring a coach who will get us back into winning championships, and I don't care who that is at this point. Stricklin could hire Lane Kiffin and if he won us a national title I'd become the biggest Kifffan hypocrite ever. (Please No Baby Jesus, I Am Only Kidding).

I want a coach that will bring exciting offense to the Swamp and bring big wins against our rivals. The last time we had that around here, Dan Mullen was calling the plays. Is he a home run hire? I don't know. But he's done pretty well at a mid-level school in the toughest division in college football and would have a much better talent pool to recruit. He's a helluva lot better than what we've had here since he left, and I for one would give him the chance. 

If he wins at Florida, the fans will love him and nobody will care if he's an a-hole in person or if his wife hates Gainesville or if he parts his hair on the wrong side. If he doesn't, all the haters can say they were right and we'll go hire someone else.  Thankfully it's not my decision, and I eagerly await our next great Gator coach.
