"I love Mudlizard. He's so great. Sorry buddy." |

Message Replied To ========== You sound really committed to Trump being President. He has gotten away with law breaking his entire life, but he's never had a federal prosecutor like Mueller investigating him before. We have an election coming up, do you think the GOP will stay in power by continuing to enable him...by say, defunding Mueller's investigation? They are already in peril of a blue wave, do that and things may look every different in just a short year.============================== The fact that I endorsed impeaching him sometime around June must have gone unnoticed.
I object to the search for a cosmic arbiter to reach down and make things right as you see it. I object to the yearning for an extra-constitutional solution to an electoral problem. I object to criminalizing and medicalizing a political problem because those with the political power are chickenshyt #badword#s.
I object to the rampant push to make everything and everyone on the right an absolute evil. This is what is done in wars . . . dehumanizing the other side. It is being done here. (this is Mud's objection . . . because of a previous thread he and I had)
When one puts themselves at the head of a holy crusade to rid the world of an absolute evil . . . and then couples that to extra-constitutional measures to achieve their goals . . . nobody will be safe . . . but not from the absolute evil . . . from the holy crusaders.
I gave you an opinion shared by many constitutional scholars . . . that the court is not going to help you. In return, you accuse me of being a Trump supporter.
Fix your electoral problem within the mechanisms of the system as it was designed. And if pointing this out makes me a Trump supporter . . . so be it. |
