Sorry UFNY, but unless you know him and he told you that, then I don't buy it. Brewster leaked reports that he wanted to stay in Florida and preferably in the SECE.

Even still  Brewster wasn't our only option. Mullen needs to emphasize recruiting with this staff more than he has. It was a mistake to bring Hevesy AND Gonzalez IMO. That was a bigtime Mac-ish move. 

So if Knox comes...ugh. He will have basically brought over that meh staff from MSU. 

I'm giving Mullen every opportunity to win me over. I'm getting excited about potential hires and such. But so far...slight upgrade to Mac in terms of staff selection. And that sucks.

Why would he NOT go with the guy that he's attached his star to, who just cashed in bigtime and likely rewards loyalty, and is heading to the very fertile TX recruiting grounds, and a place that is clearly 110% behind building a massive football program? Gainesville ain't that compelling right now.
