Well, that indicates he doesn't have enough grey matter between his ears to be a Gator quarterback.  Unless, of course he flips back to us, in which case he has an Einstein brain. 

I think either he or Mullen don't see him as a good enough threat in the running game to be in Mullen's spread option.   If that's the case, he needed to go elsewhere anyway, and good on whichever of them made the decision, so recruiting concentration, and later practice reps can be given to a good fit, and not wasted on a bad fit. 

I know Hung said below that he doesn't like running the quarterback, but IMO you HAVE to in this offense.  It's all about having one too many blockers to defend against in the run game, so you lose an invaluable advantage if you take the QB out of the run game.

You need a QB who not only CAN run, but who WANTS to run.  A LOT. 

That's probably not Corral, so don't grieve too much. The philosophy is that having to defend against a GOOD QB run option will wreak havoc on a defense. The coverage and pass rush will necessarily be less effective.  That means you DON'T have to find a Tom-Brady-level accurate thrower. 

Let Dan go after the QB's (plural) he needs to best run his style of offense.
