All Americans myself included owe humanity an apology for Trump. So dear world, heaven, and nature, I'm very sorry, please forgive us. I will do everything in my power to correct this wrong. 

There is that better. I'll lead by example. You can continue to make excuse after stinking excuse for how you have no culpability in the human disaster that is the Trump Presidency. But the fact of the matter is the American electorate is fully responsible and must be held accountable.  

And shrill demands from arrogant people is not going to move me closer to feeling guilty. Quite the opposite, actually. If shrill and arrogant people think I made the wrong choice, then that is evidence that I probably made the right choice. Because I don't want to be in the company of shrill and arrogant people. The company you keep says a lot about you, after all.

I have regretted many decisions in my life. Voting 3rd party in the 2016 presidential election is not one of them. I have never gone to Reconciliation and confessed voting 3rd party in the 2016 presidential election. I will likely never do so. In the last year, I have heard no homily stating that a vote for a 3rd party in 2016 was something that had to be repented of and received forgiveness for. Not one time. So, according to Catholic orthodoxy, I'm perfectly fine at least as far as my vote is concerned.

If your orthodoxy defers, that's fine. But know that I reject it.

Still, I'm glad that you have squared your conscience with your personal moral system. It's always a good thing to try to live right.
