It has become abundantly clear that some Trump voters heard Trump's "Make America Great Again" as code for "Make America White Again".

It is also abundantly clear that they heard correctly. Today's news on the Salvadoran immigrants is only the latest example of many.

That small minority of racists were always there. But even the Salvadoran thing is a PROJECTION of what certain writers assume Trump is thinking.

The bottom line with it is that such a policy should NEVER be up to the whims of the executive branch in a Constitutional democratic republic. We elect Presidents not Kings.

From the "other" side we have seen people with deeply held religious convictions have their life savings and livlihoods taken away from them by the government because they would not conform to the current zeitgeist and compromise their faiths.

Things are not any worse, they are just different.
