Alabama has a total of 27 national championships in mens and womens sports. 17 in football, 2 in golf, and six in womens gymnastics, over only five sports total. Georgia has a total of 40, in nine combined sports, but five are in equestrian. Basically, Alabama is football, which what you'd expect. Florida has 39 national championships over 14 sports combined, 30 of them during Foley's tenure as AD. |
