One doesn’t need credentials to have seen his body of work.

It’s more like one has to try to not see it.

But that doesn’t make for mental illness, regardless of how much you want that to be the case. As someone who worked my entire practitioner career in behaviora/mental health, I find the armchair psychology to diminish the work done to help those who really need help. mental health disorders can create serious problems for those who have them amd their families. When we diagnose we are unwittingly demonstrating a lack of understanding of the DSM V and its purpose. many do not even realize they are doing it. For example,  I teach students to be careful about this. They might find themselves talking to colleagues and one might say, “oh, she’s borderline so that’s her personalit. No, it’s not her personality; it’s a disorder, meaning it is treatable. That isn’t one examLe of what happens when people are dismisslive or lacking knowledge about behavioral health. I have seen many more but I’ve never seen such a large collective think they can make assessments based on not liking style or personality traits.
