Message Replied To ========== Congratulations on the " Schumer Shutdown. " Millions of Americans adversely affected to protect 800K illegal aliens....who would probably have been protected by the Republicans anyway. This could turn many against the "dreamers" and not help their cause.============================== Even THAT wasn't enough by the time President Stephen Miller got through with it. Chaos might work as a campaign strategy, but it's not a governing strategy. Trump is in hopelessly over his head, and that's partly because he doesn't want the responsibilities and accountability that come with being POTUS. And there is no one he won't throw under the bus to escape blame if something goes wrong. But this is also primarily on the Republicans in Congress. Instead of waiting for Trump to "tell them what he wants" (when he doesn't even know himself), pass a bipartisan bill such as the deal that Graham and Durbin made that Trump initially agreed with, send it to Trump, and then it's on him whether to sign it or not. |
