That has not been my experience. I only hear about it from others but most people (everyone I have ever had the conversation with at least) claims they get their news from multiple sources, not one single source.

I trust no media. Just look at how even the so called "reputable" ones treated the two marches this weekend. I was in DC for a meeting this weekend during both marches. The crowds I saw for both were comparable, and both moderately large. But the WashPo described Fridays march as in the "thousands" when it obviously was more than that..(you can look at pictures that were posted on facebook by other board members who went if you want to form your own opinion). Most of their coverage also centered on anti-Trump, even though he was not a major focus of the march. They were more fair to Sunday's March, describing it in the hundreds of thousands which I thought was closer by my eye..though the number of marchers on Sunday appeared substantially smaller to me than Fridays.

The media has lost reputability because the internet gets around the messaging they try to choose for us. Trump is just playing on that. Fox simply sells the alternative to the left wing slant. It has nothing to do with political loyalty, it is the market niche they are going after. They would switch sides in an instant if they thought it would get them more money. But, since OAN is the only other cable "news" entity that slants right(and is tiny), Fox has chosen to go after that 1/2 of the country that slants right wing instead of sharing the left wing slant with the network news, CNN and MSNBC.
