Do you think we would just say screw it, and stop growing food?
Do you think we would just do away with eating altogather?
Or would the laws of economics: supply, demand, price... work themselves out as they always have, only this time without the wage-destroying effect of illegal foreign labor?
Or would the laws of economics suddenly collapse and never work again, if we decided to protect our borders?
And yes, I'm willing to pay the TRUE SUPPLY/DEMAND PRICE for my tomatoes, but you have to realize EVERYONE'S wages would go up also, as businesses compete for American workers. |
