Was I hard on Clinton for being a sexist, philander? Yes. For Obama’s Manchurian intelligence? Yes. But, I’m now finally tired of it and have finally grown to accept that they’ll all be flawed until we attract those who for what we all seem to be the ideal president in terms of behavior. I’m not talking policy; we’ll always, thankfully, have that divide. And it’s not because he is a moderate conservative (some day), because trump is really a liberal who knew this was the smartest route.

Trump has not lowered the bar. He’s just more open with his flaws. He is front and center, doesn’t try to pretend to be anyone but who he is, and doesn’t care that a bunch of middle aged gator fans on a message board are bickering about him, or anyone else for that matter. His boorish brazenness really gets under some folks’ skin. Not me. At least, not like it once would have. Have I resolved myself to the idea that presidents will be presidents? Yes and no. Bring on a strong independent woman!

Ahhh but let the games continue. We will continue to tear each other apart and we will keep coming back for more.
