had simply followed the rules in place and maintained a valid visa.  He is intelligent, educated, and was able to use the visa laws to come here as a student, then as an educator, then again as a student ........ then simply failed to do what he already knew how to do, and was aware that he had to do ...... and, even then, an immigration court essentially granted him a waiver .... with which he apparently STILL failed to comply .... all after having been in this country for 30 years.  I'm not a fan of breaking up families, but this man bears much of the blame for his situation, the eagerness of ICE notwithstanding.
