Message Replied To ========== Well, when the very people who oppose dialogue and the potential for restrictions offer "thoughts and prayers" while they hold their fingers in their ears and hum while you talk about ways to prevent it from happening...well, you get the point. It feels hollow when there is no interest in making any changes. ==============================that are blamed for the death. There are those who think the outrage over this is selective when the same people aren't against abortion. There is always a way to point a finger at someone and it rarely helps anything. Personally I don't think the issue is about guns but about people. That is what makes the solution so difficult. We have always had guns and while today's guns are different than years ago we have had semi-auto guns with mags for a long time before these shootings started. Something about us changed and it's changed in the last 30-40 years. |
