Positions are fixed. Neither side listens to the other. There is no common ground. Guns in this country will not be banned in our lifetimes while enhanced security cannot stop crazy people. And partisan politics poisons all of it. Already, the Parkland shooting is being used to bash Trump; and if Obama were in office he would be accused of using it to confiscate guns. |
