The NRA better get ahead of this and start embracing reasonable gun law changes instead of reflexively opposing everything. Otherwise they are rapidly going to become irrelevant and toxic for pols to accept money from.

If they were, they would sack the crazy leadership that is currently there, get someone in charge that is all in for getting the NRA back to what they used to be, and seek to partner with the government as being the go-to organization for gun education, gun training and the like.  Membership will then allow for discounts on these things plus still get a cool sticker for the car/truck. 

I hate today's version of the NRA and what they've become. They had better change now or become irrelevant over the next two generations.
