Message Replied To ========== The story of the discovery of the USS Lexington the other day reminds me of one of my favorite stories re: the carrier. In 1929 she sailed into Tacoma, Washington and connected her boilers to the city power to supply electricity to the city until a drought affecting the area was alleviated by rainfall, once again allowing the hydroelectric facilities to operate.
