For us to find out if their diet works here we would need to test it on an American population. It's possible that other variables actually control their lifespan more than their diet, but until we test it out we are just speculating.

So, let's test it. 

Your approach to arguing against reform is very consistent, but consistently flawed in that you want a full-proof method prior to any new legislation. In other words, you obstruct with an expectation that can never be met. You sit at the top of a tower and restrict progress based on any minute degree of uncertainty. That's neither scientific nor reasonable.
