who had to watch the Gators beat the Bonnies last night. It was clear from the broadcast that the night was supposed to be about the "best backcourt in college basketball" and their coming out party.

Damnit, why did we have to spoil that!

So I understand why there was almost no mention of how well our Gators plaid, how impressive Cheese was down the stretch. I get that. Our selfish players played spoiler and ruined the script.

Damn them.

I also understand why the last 5 minutes of the game were spent celebrating St. Bonn players as if they were saints. This was THEIR night, not our night. I also get why all 5 or 6 fouls called against them were highly scrutinized while the ticky-tack fouls called for them every time down the court were deserved. 

Shame on our players for ever being born. Shame. Shame. 

But from what I was told, we have an excuse for our performance. Tru TV never supplied our coach with the script that had us losing. So we didn't know our role in this until it was too late.

Coach White needs to do a better job of learning his role in relation to other teams next time. If he does this, maybe he will get more credit from the broadcast team for being more than just "baby-faced."
