I've been watching this movement as have others. Lots of cynics and assorted #badword# stirrers mocked the in school walkouts, and wondered on Twitter on on TV if kids would do this on "their own time." Well guess what, it's happening on 'their own time' this weekend. My guess? 25,000 + marchers equals a huge success.  

Good for these students. Those who mock them and belittle them are to me whistling past the graveyard. This is bigger than the NRA. The Worst President Ever - what will he do? Be there in DC Saturday, or will he flee to FL?   

These students don't care what Hannity, or Ingraham, or pill popping Rush say. BTW they aren't necessarily "kids" as 18 year old students in HS have been killed or injured. 

The FL and CT legislation are a good jump off point. 

So, where do you land? Oppose the marches? and please don't insult me and others to say that they are being manipulated. My smart relative, age 18, intern, fundraiser, voter registration volunteer, helper for meals on wheels, registered voter, Christian and pretty conservative 4.0 student has a mind of his own.  HE IS MARCHING. Probably better read than the WPE.
