then I just don't know what to say.  They are the other side of the same coin.  Few moderates reside in either party today at the national level, at least few in the leadership positions.  Any agenda pushed by the apparent leaders, were the Democrats regain control in Congress, is likely to be just as extreme and partisan as that of the Republicans, even if they are less impotent wrt passing legislation ,,,,, regarsdless our individual positions on certain issues.

interested in governing and willing to compromise.  When either party has too much power, it gets abused and they try to over-leverage said power.  the balance of power should be close and swing back and forth so both sides get time in authority to forward their agenda, but not too much, because that leads to overcorrection and so on.
