Message Replied To ========== I know exactly what it means and China poses an imminent threat to America both economically and militarily. I used to travel often to China and had a joint venture there with Pepsi World Trade. I watched first hand as U.S. defense contractors and our major manufacturers gave away sensitive technology to the Chinese for what often amounted to nothing but highly regulated and tariffed joint ventures with their new Chinese Communist overlords. It was amazing that a peek at a potential market of 1.2B people could turn international corporations into groveling beggars. Easy to see this day coming even back in the 1980's.============================== My wife's parents are Chinese (although she was born in Panama). I've been to China probably as many times as you and lecture there every year. I won't engage you in your "immiment threat" fearmongering because there is no way either of us could prove the other wrong. Instead, I will say that my Chinese Family and friends do not deserve to have you resurrect that racist term. And I believe we can discuss US/China relations without resorting to racism. |
