"Extremism on the left is mainstream as well..." |
|
Message Replied To ========== "the right" amplifies both extremes I think if you asked most folks on the left, from Dem Establishment to Dem Socialists they'd agree that the professors statement was ill timed and dumb. But The Right, through emails and Twitter rage amplify her statement and give it an air of legitimacy, the exact same thing they accuse The Left of doing with the white nationalists. Meanwhile the messaging of white nationalism (the extreme of The Right) have become mainstream from The Daily Caller to Fox News commentary.============================== it's just not circulated the same way. We have institutionalized it through quasi-research and hyper political correctness. We share it through social media and we hammer those who don't bow down to our tyrranical and fascist perspectives. So many live in fear of tweeting the wrong thing. Saying the wrong thing. Because the leftist extremists want so badly to gain moral and political supperiority over people who otherwise would support their initiatives. When speech is chilled, we all lose. Example- look at those who jumped all over Justin Timberlake for "appropriating" black culture. How the #badword# do you "appropriate" culture? Well, I get it if you go to Egypt and move stones from a pyramid to Paris. THAT is appropriation. But Bruno Mars singing songs in the style of Mo-Town is NOT hurting anybody. And how does cyber bullying JT and Bruno help the millions African Americans who are in prison for non-violent offenses? It doesn't. That's not justice, that's "social justice"...and that is why I am proud NOT to be a SJW. I'd rather fight for justice for those who need it than get likes on Twitter. To hell with those who claim to be #woke. They aren't. |
