even  remotely negatively impacts his embarrassingly fragile ego.  That he may be giving some the appearance that he is “trying” to accomplish some of his poorly conceived red meat campaign promises doesn’t make him any more fit or palatable as a POTUS.  He remains an embarrassment to this nation regardless, and rationalizing it with the hypothetical “he’s still better than Hillary” mantra is just that....rationalization.

Others mistake an isolated overlap in viewpoint in one of the few areas where is consistent -- fearmongering, immigrant blaming bigotry, for example, as surety that he can believed in everything else he claims.  

He's the toughest on Russia, no one respects women more than him, he's worth billions, he's going to release his tax returns, his inauguration was the biggest ever, i've been on Time more than anybody, I won the popular vote, etc., etc.

But when he says he's the champion of the blue collar working class he really means it, just look at who ACTUALLY benefits from the tax cuts, look who's going to actually get hurt by a tarriff war with China, look how much he's fixed health care and saved money, look who's balancing the budget...
