3. Therefore, saying "Publix is hiring" could be seen as humorous, because anyone who read the previous thread (which still appears below) would know you wouldn't want to work for Publix.

To me, if would be like someone telling Wayne he should get a LEO job reading other people's emails to bust recreational marijuana users. YMMV.
