It is clear that the Nobel Prize has become nothing more than a liberal propaganda platform. There were many candidates who actually accomplished more towards world peace than either Mr Gore or Mr Obama but awarding them did not advance the narrative.

If Obama had won AFTER having been POTUS for a while and actually averting a war it would be different. He was awarded based on a perception of what he would be, not anything he actually did. Gore was awarded for making himself wealthy pushing carbon offsets. He accomplished very little towards reducing actual carbon greenhouse emissions.

John Paul II was a pacifist, saved Jews from the Holocaust, and used his pacifism to take down the Soviet Union. Yet, he never got one.
