We sold our Crystal Beach home and have made Durango our full time residence. Besides my time at UF, a year long training stint in Raleigh and 18 months in Atlanta for an MBA, the Tampa Bay Area has been my home. Over the past 10 years I’ve split time between Florida and Colorado ( if you are with the Colorado DOR I was in Florida 6 months and 1 day). My wife and I finally decided Durango was home and made the leap.
It seems weird that we won’t be heading back for the winter but it’s a new adventure. Living at 8,500 feet during the winter May Be a challenge but with so much the West has to offer for outdoor enthusiasts like us I don’t think we will get bored.
