really was prior to his election.  Things have changed.  I think it is more and more apparent every day just what exactly he is - and isn't. Remember that leading up to the election and after he won, his supporters told everyone that behind the scenes, trump was not at all what the public saw at rallies and interviews.  There would be a "pivot" to something resembling a POTUS, replete with all the requisite tools and skills to be the leader of the free world.  We were told he was actually very smart and measured, logical, big-picture thinker, etc.  So yes, that we see now that he is really none of these things is important.  You may not agree with me when I say I think the man is a danger to our country (like I have been saying for a year now), but there sure seem to be a lot of people who sit with him every day who think he absolutely is.
