son, brother, husband or father, all of which could have their lives wrecked by one woman telling an unsubstantiated story. Oh, and don't forget the old adage, " Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned." Some of the biggest liars I have known are women. I'm surprised Maxine Waters hasn't claimed Trump grabbed her arse….on second thought, no sane person would believe that. God help us if this kind of fabricated delaying tactic by the left becomes the norm in society. it is so hard to get at the culture of rape in our society.  Just when you think we make a little bit of progress, we are reminded of a not-insignificant neanderthal element lurking, or not.  So what i take away from this post we are to believe: men are more important than women, women are liars, ugly women are never assaulted and democrats are to blame for the evil of trying to change society's views towards women.  Why not go all the way? Women shouldn't be able to vote or own property, hell, they ARE property. Sounds positively Wahhabi-like... you should be proud.

Damage to a man from a possibly false accusation trumps consideration for a woman who may have been raped despite statistical evidence that false allegations are in fact quite rare.  We fall back on the presumption of innocence for the accused but don't give accusers a similar presumption of truthfulness. 

This is unintentional (sort of) institutional protection of predators because they hide under the umbrella of that presumption of innocence and shunning / blaming of victims.  And then have the gall to cast further doubt on the veracity of their claims because they are loathe to come forward, when coming forward is often as bad or worse in another than the original assault.
