It has been a great teaching moment for me to my kids that what you do today at your young age can have long lasting reprecussions.

My daughter is only 17 but I have been talking to her since she was 11 in 6th grade about red solo cups at parties.  That she always needs to have a buddy and be a buddy to a friend.  One has to stay sober.

My sons.... How you treat a woman respectfully. 

And in general about social media (although not exactly part of this case) that what they post or have posted about them is forever in their generation.  That isn't part of this case becasue it didn't exist then.
