Message Replied To ========== Andy Staples on how Texas changed crowd culture...  ============================== My typical Swamp experience: A mistimed Alligator video, constant androgynous breaks to introduce each member of another UF tiddlywinks team, piped music directed only to students arriving just before halftime, and one-time instant replays that are often fast forwarded past the moment that matters. Add in crappy food with long lines and few aisle vendors, fairy-sized seats, no pass-outs, no open containers, and several years of mediocre teams, you get a partially filled stadium with little energy. |
