is NOT dumb. It's fun. 

The student government (from what I understand) requested it and Mullen delivered. Good for him. 

It's not "small school" stuff, it's fun.  The thing is supposed to be fun.  Stop imposing arbitrary rules on fans who want to have fun.  If they want to wear jerseys,  let them and tell them Go 🐊  ... because they invested in their team and school despite the fact that our team has underwhelmed for almost a decade. 

If the students want a blue out...give it to them.  And maybe don't be an ass about it by wearing orange or white. Honor their request because fewer and fewer students at schools across the country are going to games.  They are the future of our program and will be in your alumni seats after you are gone.  So let's make their time special.  And guess what... you might have fun. 

Because it is far more fun to stand and sway during "We are the boys' than it is to sit and talk through it.  It's more fun to chomp than to fold arms and just...be old in the stands.  

I don't think it makes our alumni cooler that they don't participate in festivities, it makes them lame.  Yes,  far lamer than anyone wearing anything in support of our school.  My post is not for the those who can't stand or cheer,  it is for those who can and don't. 

So instead of spending so much energy being bougie,  I suggest that Gator Nation invest in having fun by taking part. Your coach has asked for it.  Our students have asked for it.  And so little is required.
