Message Replied To ========== Not sure about useless, but definitely a do-nothing prez. My lib friends agree he was a big... ...disappointment. Lot's of talk but not much action. ============================== active in the lives of Americans in 2009-10 than probably any point since WW II. People may have political arguments/ disagreements over what Obama, Congress and the Executive branch did during his presidency but to say nothing was done is just wrong. The ARRA was 50% bigger than the entire New Deal. The biggest education bill was passed. The biggest middle class tax cut was passed. More Fed forrays into the industrial policy since the Great Depression Anti poverty legislation, largest science research investment. It is amazing how much people have forgotten about the unraveling of American society, the companies that did fail, 10% unemployment, the housing crash. It was only 10 years ago. |
