Message Replied To ========== The obvious being that the Republicans has the votes they needed at any time, but let this play out like this to get a political victory along with confirming their nominee. If the Senate Dems were really tyrannically ruling somehow, K would not be getting confirmed today, period end of discussion.
Take your victory and be happy with it, but don’t pretend the GOP are somehow victims on all of this. ==============================suggest that Republicans don't also play politics, but in this case, it was the Democrats who used Blasey-Ford, made unsubstantiated allegations, were guilty of rumor-mongering, attempted to make a mockery of the presumed innocent concept, and, predictably, continued moving the goalposts whenever their most-recent attempt at delay and smear didn't work to their satisfaction. |
