The Houston hit… so the player for Vandy was #34, Dare Odeyingbo… on an earlier punt, Odeyingbo got the better of Houston… Houston got some revenge on Odeyingbo the next time around (which was 100% targeting) and got tossed. That was Odeyingbo who knocked Del Rio out last year.
Not saying that was the intent of all of this, but the history is there. ==============================he led with his shoulder to the vandy player's chest. No forcible contact to the head or neck. No contact with the crown of the helmet. No launching into a defenseless player. The guy wasn't defenseless, he was trying to tackle our punt return for God's sake. Houston was ejected for one reason, that being the pussies in charge deemed he hit him too hard. Period. End of story. |
